We're seeking a Sales Account Executive (Project Specialist) who embodies drive, personability, and meticulous organization to contribute to our rapidly expanding startup.

As a Project Specialist, you'll create exceptional customer experiences, guiding people through the creation of their dream ADU, all while being part of a supportive team offering vast opportunities for career growth.

Role Highlights:

  • As a Samara Project Specialist, you'll be directly responsible for securing a quota of signed contracts each month.
  • You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, shaping their early impression of Samara with professionalism and expertise.
  • You will be responsible for guiding our customers through the ADU purchase journey, including site planning, property due diligence, financing, proposal generation, and contract negotiation/close.
  • A successful candidate in this role will be detail oriented, understand real estate finance/investing, the benefits of ADUs, and the ability to convey design and construction fundamentals while remaining practically focused on project due diligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage your sales pipeline, ensuring monthly quota attainment.
  • Qualify opportunities and manage sales for Samara products and services.
  • Close sales while conducting thorough pre-contract due diligence, mitigating risks associated with customer properties.
  • Present Samara's offerings in a manner that sets us apart from competitors.
  • Guide prospects through the sales funnel, facilitating property reviews and showroom tours.
  • Perform on-site due diligence to craft customer proposals and negotiate contracts, aligning expectations with Samara's capabilities.
  • Develop project approaches and proposals for review by the construction team.
  • Tailor proposals to individual customer circumstances, fostering trust and achieving high close rates.
  • Understand each customer's needs to devise appropriate timelines and strategies for closing deals.
  • Help customers understand their long term ROI and guide them through the financing process.
  • Host customers in the showroom and support weekend events to drive sales.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and meet targets.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Revenue to refine the sales process and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide feedback to improve customer targeting strategies and support collateral.
  • Attend Samara delivery days to foster new customer interest and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in ADUs, real estate, construction, renewable energy, or related sectors.
  • Experience in construction project management is a plus.
  • BS or MS in business, engineering, economics, construction management, or related fields is also a plus.
  • Regional travel within the Bay Area is expected, with occasional travel outside the region.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build customer relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment with a strong work ethic.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Creative problem-solving skills in a startup setting.
  • Self-starter mentality with a track record of personal accountability.
  • Candidates must have an eye for quality, detail, and a commitment to exceptional performance.
